An out-of-bounds read in Microsoft USBHUB 3.0 Device Driver allows physically proximate attackers to execute code via crafted USB input. The driver reads beyond a buffer boundary while handling attacker-controlled USB data, but Microsoft has not identified the affected routine or disclosed the malformed field that triggers the read. Physical access and a crafted USB device are required; successful exploitation executes code in the driver context and can compromise or interrupt the system.
