CVE-2023-35321Network attack vector

Service interruption via improper null termination

Published Jul 11, 2023 · Updated Jan 1, 2025

Improper null termination in Windows Deployment Services on affected Windows Server builds allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. Microsoft identifies the weakness class but has not disclosed the parsing locus, affected input, or exact failure path. Network access with low privileges is required, and successful exploitation affects availability only by interrupting WDS.
