Uncontrolled resource consumption in HTTP.sys in affected Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 builds allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Microsoft has not published the malformed request or the HTTP.sys operation that consumes resources without adequate limits. An unauthenticated network path to an HTTP.sys listener is required, and successful exploitation affects availability without reported data exposure or modification.
