Stack-based buffer overflow in HP LaserJet Pro firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via adjacent-network requests. The slangapp binary copies attacker-controlled PATH_INFO data into a fixed-length stack buffer without first validating its length. No authentication is required, but network access to the printer is necessary; successful exploitation runs code with root privileges.
