Browser script execution via unsanitized redirect URL
Published Jun 23, 2023 · Updated Nov 27, 2024
Reflected XSS in the deletespace template in XWiki Platform allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser via a crafted URL. In deletespace.vm, the xredirect request value was assigned directly to the cancellation link's href without URL-scheme sanitization. No authentication is required, but a user must follow the malicious link; script executes in that user's XWiki origin and can act with that user's rights.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
