Reflected XSS via unsanitized redirect URL
Published Jun 23, 2023 · Updated Nov 27, 2024
Reflected XSS in XWiki Platform allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser through a crafted delete-page URL. The delete.vm template copies the xredirect request parameter into the cancel link's href without rejecting alternate script schemes. Exploitation requires a user to follow the crafted URL; the resulting script runs in that user's XWiki origin and can act with that user's session privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
