CVE-2023-35120Network attack vector

Command execution via forged authenticated web requests

Published Jul 6, 2023 · Updated Nov 13, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in PiiGAB M-Bus SoftwarePack 900S allows remote attackers to execute commands through crafted web requests. The gateway web interface accepts state-changing GET or POST requests under an existing session cookie without verifying that the logged-in owner intended them. Exploitation requires the owner to remain logged in and follow an attacker-supplied link, after which commands run with the owner's gateway privileges.
