Memory corruption via wrapped LXT2 value allocation

Integer overflow in GTKWave 3.3.115 allows attackers to corrupt memory by inducing a victim to open a crafted LXT2 file. In lxt2_rd_init, crafted msb and lsb values make len equal 0xffffffff, so adding one wraps and calloc creates an undersized value buffer. The GUI or an affected conversion tool must open the file; the published proof of concept demonstrates an out-of-bounds write, not code execution.
