Local file inclusion via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 13, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Web Push Notifications – Webpushr 4.34.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to include local files. The wpp_save_settings function fails to validate a WordPress nonce before using the attacker-controlled menu parameter for file inclusion. Exploitation requires a site administrator to act on a forged request, after which the selected server-local file is included.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
