Cleartext credential transmission in IBM Security Verify Governance - Identity Manager 10.0.2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read credentials. IBM identifies the affected locus only as Identity Manager credential transmission and does not disclose the request, protocol, code path, or operation that sends credentials without transport protection. Exploitation requires a network-positioned attacker able to intercept the transmission; the documented consequence is credential disclosure, not data modification or service interruption.
