CVE-2023-35011Network attack vector

Authenticated server-side request forgery

Published Aug 16, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Server-side request forgery in IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.7, 11.2.0, and 11.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to send unauthorized requests. IBM has not disclosed the affected component, request parameter, or missing validation that permits attacker-controlled destinations. Successful exploitation makes requests from the Cognos server, enabling internal network enumeration or other attacks with limited data exposure and modification.
