Authenticated secret disclosure via incomplete config redaction
Published Jun 19, 2023 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
Information disclosure in Apache Airflow 2.5.0 through 2.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive configuration values. The webserver configuration view redacts a hard-coded key set, omitting sensitive options such as secrets.backend_kwargs instead of using configuration metadata. Exposure requires the nondefault webserver expose_config value non-sensitive-only; disclosed settings can include secrets-backend credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
