Service interruption via privileged arbitrary file deletion

Arbitrary file deletion in AVEVA Operations Control Logger allows local users to delete files with SYSTEM privilege, causing service interruption. AVEVA has not disclosed the code-level locus or how the logger accepts the externally controlled path used by its privileged deletion operation. A standard OS-authenticated account on an affected host is required; deletion can deny service, with no vendor-reported confidentiality impact.
