CVE-2023-34873Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via tcpdump command injection

Published May 23, 2025 · Updated May 23, 2025

OS command injection in MOBOTIX P3 before MX-V4.7.2.18 and Mx6 before MX-V5.2.0.61 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The /admin/tcpdump interface accepts improperly validated input that reaches an operating-system command, enabling command injection. Access requires a valid camera account; successful injection runs commands in the camera firmware context and can read or alter data or interrupt service.
