Browser script execution via crafted HTML upload
Published Jun 12, 2023 · Updated Jan 3, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Youxun AC Centralized Management Platform 1.02.040 allows attackers to execute script in a victim's browser. The /upfile.cgi interface accepts a crafted HTML upload that supplies active content for execution when the uploaded file is opened. High-privileged access is required to upload the file, and another user must open it; impact is limited to data exposed or altered in that browser context.
