Unauthenticated command execution via login username
Published Jun 29, 2023 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Command injection in Ikuai router OS 3.7.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute OS commands through the login interface. ActionLogin in webman.lua passes the unfiltered username parameter directly to a logger function that executes it as a command. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation establishes a reverse shell on the router.
