CVE-2023-34837Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated script execution via unescaped GrpPath

Published Jun 27, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Microworld eScan Management Console 14.0.1400.2281 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via GrpPath. The console reflects the HTTP POST GrpPath value into the response without sanitization or output encoding, allowing script injection in the victim browser. Exploitation requires a valid console session and user interaction with a crafted request, enabling session-cookie theft and actions in that user's context.
