Unauthenticated database disclosure via exposed directory index
Published Jun 29, 2023 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Directory browsing in the MCL-Net 4.3.5.8788 webserver allows remote attackers to read configured database details via /file. The default-port interface exposes directory indexes under /file without access control, including AdoInfo.txt files containing plaintext database connection strings. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosure is limited to files reachable through the exposed directory tree.
