Unauthenticated SQL injection via charset editor cid
Published Jun 14, 2023 · Updated Jan 3, 2025
SQL injection in Bloofox CMS 0.5.2.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through the charset editor's cid parameter. The charset edit handler at admin/index.php incorporates the untrusted cid value into an SQL statement without neutralizing attacker-controlled syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, so any network-exposed installation can receive a crafted cid value through the administration route.
