Unauthenticated SQL execution via language identifier
Published Jun 14, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
SQL injection in bloofoxCMS 0.5.2.1 allows remote attackers to execute attacker-chosen SQL through the language editor lid parameter. The language-settings edit handler uses the untrusted lid value in an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can read, alter, or interrupt the backing database.
