Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized query parameters
Published Jun 15, 2023 · Updated Dec 18, 2024
SQL injection in Piwigo 13.7.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database names through the Users filter. The ws_users_getList() function concatenates the order and exclude[] parameters directly into its ORDER BY query without sanitization. Access to the Users function is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates error-based enumeration of database names.
