Device crash via oversized network-control list
Published Jun 8, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
Stack overflow in Tenda AC10 v4 firmware US_AC10V4.0si_V16.03.10.13_cn allows local users with administrative privileges to crash the router. Processing a list value larger than the /goform/SetNetControlList handler’s destination stack buffer overwrites adjacent stack memory. Administrative access is required, and the public evidence demonstrates a device crash rather than confirmed code execution.
