CVE-2023-34553Public exploit

Unauthenticated unlocking via static keyfob code replay

Published Jun 22, 2023 · Updated Dec 6, 2024

Authentication bypass in WAFU Keyless Smart Lock 1.0 allows physically proximate attackers to unlock the device via 433 MHz radio replay. The keyfob receiver accepts a previously captured command because the hardware protocol uses static codes instead of a rolling code. An attacker within radio range can record a legitimate keypress with a software-defined radio and later replay it to operate all lock functions without authentication.
