CVE-2023-34551Public exploit

Authenticated code execution via netClientSetWlanCfg buffer overflows

Published Aug 1, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Stack buffer overflows in affected EZVIZ camera firmware allow remote authenticated users on the local network to execute code. The netClientSetWlanCfg function performs two out-of-bounds writes while processing crafted wireless-configuration input. Valid device credentials and local-network access are required; successful exploitation grants code execution on the camera and can alter its video stream.
