Email disclosure via unobfuscated livetable REST fields
Published Jun 23, 2023 · Updated Nov 29, 2024
Information disclosure in XWiki Platform 3.5-milestone-1 through 14.4.7 and 14.5 through 14.10.3 allows remote attackers to read user emails. XWiki.LiveTableResultsMacros returned raw Email-class field values in REST output and allowed filtering and sorting on them despite enabled mail obfuscation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the exposure is limited to user email addresses rather than data modification or service interruption.
