Service crash via primitive-array length overflow

Integer overflow in Xerial snappy-java before 1.1.10.1 allows remote attackers to crash a consuming Java process through oversized primitive arrays. Snappy.java multiplies char, double, float, int, long, and short array lengths without bounds checks before rawCompress uses the wrapped byte count to size a native compression buffer. Exploitation requires a consuming application to create a sufficiently large attacker-influenced primitive array and pass it to an affected compress overload, causing an exception or fatal access violation.
