Improper input validation in Intel Converged Security and Manageability Engine firmware allows privileged local users to cause denial of service. Intel identifies the faulty operation only as firmware input validation and does not disclose the affected input, code locus, or resulting failure mode. Exploitation requires high privileges and local access, and the documented consequence is limited to loss of availability.
