CVE-2023-34390Network attack vector

Authenticated service lockout via invalid network input

Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Improper input validation in SEL-451 firmware allows remote authenticated users to interrupt relay services through network input. The vendor identifies the affected locus only as input processing and has not disclosed the field, request, or validation operation that locks out services. Exploitation requires authenticated network access and user interaction; the reported consequence is a service lockout, with no confidentiality or integrity impact.
