Unauthenticated command execution via unchecked Content-Length
Published Oct 11, 2023 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in httpd gwcfg.cgi in Yifan YF325 1.0_20221108 allows remote attackers to execute commands via HTTP. The gwcfg_cgi_get_manage_post_data function passes the request-supplied Content-Length to wfread without comparing it with the 1,024-byte post_data stack buffer. The gwcfg.cgi/get endpoints are reachable before authentication, so one crafted network request can overwrite the stack and execute commands on the router.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
