Race condition in Linux kernel 5.10 and later allows guest OS users to deadlock a Xen backend domain through device removal. The Xen event-channel code permits channel closure to contend with concurrent console activity and interrupt handling under queued reader-writer locking, leaving the participants deadlocked. Exploitation requires control of a guest or backend and paravirtualized drivers on an x86 or 64-bit Arm guest; 32-bit Arm guests are unaffected.
