CVE-2023-34321

Cross-guest memory disclosure via cache-range overflow

Published Jan 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Information disclosure in Xen on Arm 32-bit allows guest OS users to read sensitive memory data previously owned by another guest. Cache-cleaning and invalidation helpers overflow while calculating a memory region, causing the required operation to be skipped before memory is assigned to a guest. Only Arm 32-bit hosts are vulnerable; Arm 64-bit hosts are unaffected, and the bounded consequence is cross-guest confidentiality loss.
