File disclosure via unrestricted code-frame paths
Published Jun 7, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
Local file inclusion in Gatsby before 4.25.7 and Gatsby 5.0.0 through 5.9.0 allows remote attackers to read development-host files. The code-frame handlers resolve attacker-controlled filePath and moduleId values and read the resulting paths without limiting them to compiled files. Remote reachability requires gatsby develop to be running and intentionally bound beyond 127.0.0.1; successful requests disclose file contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
