Authenticated OS command injection via certificate-generation input
Published Aug 17, 2023 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
OS command injection in Moxa TN-5900 Series firmware 3.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The certification-generation function insufficiently validates attacker-controlled input before passing it to an operating-system command. Administrative web-interface privileges are required; successful exploitation permits command execution on the affected router.
