Authenticated command execution via certificate-generation input
Published Aug 17, 2023 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
OS command injection in Moxa TN-4900, TN-5900, EDR-810, EDR-G902, and EDR-G903 firmware allows remote authenticated users to run commands. The certificate-generation function insufficiently validates attacker-controlled input before incorporating it into an operating-system command. Administrative web-interface privileges are required; successful exploitation executes arbitrary commands on the appliance, enabling data access, configuration changes, and service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
