Published Jun 23, 2023 · Updated Dec 2, 2024
URL injection in Progress OpenEdge Management and OpenEdge Explorer before 12.7 allows remote authenticated users to gain admin access. Progress has not published the affected endpoint or explained how crafted URL content bypasses authorization checks that should preserve role membership. Any valid OEM or OEE role is sufficient to reach the flaw, which grants administrative privileges and permits privileged management actions.
