Service interruption via repeated HMS Core updates
Published Jun 19, 2023 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
Denial of service in Huawei HarmonyOS 3.0.0 and 3.1.0 and EMUI 13.0.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt HMS Core services. Huawei has not published the specific comparison, input, or state error by which the user profile module misdetermines whether an HMS Core update is required. Network access is sufficient, with no privileges or user interaction required, and the reported consequence is limited to availability loss when dependent services fail.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
