CVE-2023-34110Network attack vector

Hashed-password disclosure via verbose CRUD errors

Published Jun 22, 2023 · Updated Dec 6, 2024

Information disclosure in Flask-AppBuilder before 4.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to expose hashed passwords through User forms. SQLAlchemy CRUD exception handlers surface database exception details in UI messages instead of returning a generic database error. Administrator privileges are required, and disclosure of the complete user row depends on the database engine's error content.
