CVE-2023-34088Network attack vector

Administrator JWT theft via unescaped document names

Published May 31, 2023 · Updated Jan 9, 2025

Stored XSS in Collabora Online before 22.05.13, 21.11.9.1, and 6.4.27 allows remote authenticated users to steal an administrator JWT. The admin history page inserts an attacker-controlled document name as unescaped HTML, causing its script payload to execute in the console origin. Exploitation requires an administrator to open the history page after the crafted document is created; execution can disclose the JWT used by the admin websocket connection.
