CVE-2023-34085Network attack vector

Cross-user attribute disclosure via crafted DynamoDB request

Published Oct 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 10, 2024

Information disclosure in Ping Identity PingFederate 11.3 through 11.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to read another user's attributes. With an AWS DynamoDB table configured for user attribute storage, a maliciously crafted request makes the datastore lookup return attributes belonging to a different user. Ping Identity has not disclosed the affected request field or lookup operation; exploitation requires low privileges, user interaction, and the non-default DynamoDB configuration.
