Cross-organization workflow access via missing action authorization
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
Missing authorization in VMware Aria Automation 8.11.0 through 8.14.1 allows remote authenticated users to access remote organizations and workflows. The form-service API executes Aria Automation Orchestrator actions without checking that the requested action belongs to a catalog or day-2 operation. A valid account is required, and successful exploitation lets that account invoke workflows belonging to remote organizations.
