Denial of service in Spring Boot allows remote attackers to interrupt MVC or WebFlux applications via crafted HTTP methods. WebMvcTags and WebFluxTags used each raw, nonstandard HTTP method as a distinct Micrometer tag, allowing repeated requests to create unbounded tag values. Affected releases require spring-boot-actuator on the classpath; resource exhaustion disrupts availability without reading or changing data.
