Authenticated layout modification via missing capability checks
Published Dec 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Grid Plus 1.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to add, update, or delete grid layouts. The grid_plus_save_layout_callback and grid_plus_delete_callback functions perform privileged layout operations without capability checks. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and exploitation changes or removes site layout data without disclosing confidential data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
