Unrestricted file upload in WPChill Download Monitor 4.8.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary server files. The AJAX-accessible upload_file function copies attacker-supplied content and its filename into dlm_uploads without file-type validation or an adequate capability check. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and server-side execution of the uploaded file grants control over site data and service availability.
