Privilege escalation in ScyllaDB 5.2.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with keyspace CREATE rights to access other tables. ScyllaDB has not published the authorization-checking flaw that causes a new-table privilege to bypass existing table permissions. Exploitation requires CREATE authorization on the same keyspace; the consequence is unauthorized access to table data and operations within that keyspace.
