Service interruption via backtracking redirect patterns

ReDoS in Liferay Portal and DXP Pattern Redirects allows remote attackers to exhaust server resources via crafted request URLs. Pattern Redirects evaluates configured regular-expression patterns against request URLs without preventing expressions with excessive backtracking. A vulnerable pattern must be configured and reached; matching a crafted URL then consumes excessive resources and interrupts service availability.
