CVE-2023-3395Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via plaintext passwords in memory

Published Jul 3, 2023 · Updated Oct 24, 2024

Cleartext password storage in Ovarro TWinSoft affects all versions and allows remote authenticated users to read account passwords. When a project file is opened, TWinSoft decrypts its stored SSH and engineer-account passwords and retains those plaintext values in process memory. Reachability requires access to system files and the ability to inspect the TWinSoft process, exposing the loaded account passwords.
