Unauthenticated file disclosure via unrestricted Form downloads
Published May 24, 2023 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Missing authorization in Liferay Portal 7.4.3.67 and Liferay DXP 7.4.13.u67 allows remote attackers to download protected files. The Dynamic Data Mapping module accepts a crafted Form download URL without limiting the referenced Document and Media file to files exposed by that Form. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized read access to any Document and Media file.
