Published May 24, 2023 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Stored XSS in Liferay Portal 7.4.3.50 and Liferay DXP 7.4 update 50 allows remote attackers to inject script through article titles. The Web Content Display widget's article selector renders a crafted web content article Title without neutralizing executable HTML or script. An authenticated content author supplies the stored payload, and execution requires another user to open the affected selector.
