Scheduled migration deletion via unchecked AJAX handler
Published Dec 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in WebToffee WP Backup and Migration 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete scheduled migrations. The wt_delete_schedule AJAX handler performs the cron-deletion action without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to remove the migration schedule, interrupting future automated backup or migration runs.
