Admin-level gadget execution via unsafe settings unserialization
Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
PHP object injection in Read More & Accordion before 3.2.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute gadget-defined PHP behavior. The Import feature submits base64-encoded serialized content, which the plugin unserializes without restricting object types. Administrator-level access and a suitable gadget chain are required; successful exploitation invokes the gadget's PHP magic methods and their defined effects.
